Welcome to SEAL Interfaces for OpenID Connect Authentication

Version: 1.0.1.8

This documentation provides information about the installation and customization of OpenID Connect services in order to make SEAL Systems products work with them.

OpenID Connect

The OpenID Connect protocol is a widely used standard protocol based on OAuth2.0. You will find an easy introduction in the Guide to OAuth2.0.

The user authentication via OpenID Connect is completely separated from the product you want to use and is done by an identitiy server. Currently SEAL Systems products particularly use the Keycloak identity server, but you may use other OpenID Connect-capable identity servers as well.

For details on the respective service, refer to the original documentation of the software producer:

Keycloak

Keycloak provides authentication via OpenID Connect protocol, which is used by sophisticated SEAL clients.

Keycloak is an open source software product to allow single sign-on with Identity Management and Access Management aimed at modern applications and services.
